Lion’s Package

Last night when I got home there was a package for Lion. I opened it. He always tells me I can, but I don’t usually. I figured it might be something he was waiting for and would want to know as soon as it came. I’m not so sure he wanted to know about this though. It was a new shock collar.

Lion says this collar can be controlled by my phone rather than a remote. No more worrying about carrying a remote. I can zap him right from my handy dandy phone. Woohoo! Now he won’t know if I’m on Facebook or about to zot him in the balls. Things just got a little more interesting. If he gets upset that I’m on my phone and not paying attention to him (despite the fact that he does it to me too) I can hit the little button and wait for him to jump. Even when he knows it’s coming, he jumps. And then he gets the look of “what did you do that for?” on his face.

I don’t know if it has a remote with it also or not. I didn’t really investigate it other than opening the outer box to see what was inside. On one hand, the remote is easier. I won’t have to open an app on the phone. I can just grab the remote. On the other hand, as I said, if I’ve already got my phone in my hand I can easily switch gears. We’ll test it out and see how it goes.

Silly Lion keeps getting things to make his life more difficult. I guess he can’t help himself. New paddles, new shock collars, new cages. He’ll never learn. I know he doesn’t like the pain at the time, but he loves the attention. And he loves that he can’t do a thing about it. He’s not in charge. I am. I think he likes that most of all.

Very cool idea. Would like to know if that collar is available in Canada. I guess I’m a lot like Lion. lol
