It Was a Dark and Stormy Weekend
The other night Lion was in the bathroom and I vaguely heard him say, “It was a dark and stormy night….” I wondered why he said that. I hadn’t been paying attention to the weather report that was on TV. It’s almost always stormy around here anyway. We’ve had a flood warning for a few days and I just heard we’re in for three storms in a row. Even if they miss us, the mountains will get something and it will all wash down in the rivers which are already pretty high.
Last night Lion listed off things he wants to do this weekend. I dislike when every day is taken up by errands. The dog has a bath scheduled for Sunday. Lion wants a haircut and also wanted to go into Seattle. I don’t want to schlepp around in rain all weekend. My compromise is a haircut this afternoon and the dog’s bath Sunday. Seattle can wait. Lion agreed. He almost had to. I’m in charge and I’m the driver.
I still need to clean up a bunch of stuff from moving. I have no idea when I’ll go back into the pantry to dig through the stacks of boxes in there. Lion says he’s been looking for a certain thing and I know it has to be in the boxes. If I had any idea which one I’d search. My focus will be on clearing things out of the livable portion of the house before I tackle the hidden areas.
Of course, I still need to give Lion attention. He’s been wearing his new chastity cage for over a day now. I left him in it so he’s have some idea how it feels to pee and to sleep in it. I haven’t heard any complaints so far. I’m sure by tonight he’ll be looking forward to getting out and having some fun. I’ll let him out so he can shower in case he’s stinky. No reason I have to suffer.
