Weird Week

This is my first week back to work since being furloughed. It’s been weird. It took me until today to get logged in to my office remotely. Part of that was my fault. It’s amazing what you forget in just three weeks away from the office. I guess part of it was that I wasn’t actually in the office. Last year, when Lion had neck surgery, I was out for three weeks and went right back to work with no trouble. I think I was focusing too much on the remote part and forgot a step needed to log in. The other weird part is Zoom meetings. Because we’re not fully back to work until next week, some of the staff are out of the office, but management is trying to make sure everyone is on the same page. We’re having meetings Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, plus I finally got logged in to do some actual work, plus Lion still needs to be waxed, plus, plus, plus. And either one of us or the other hasn’t been feeling well since whenever Lion had his orgasm, so everything seems to be in limbo.

After my meeting yesterday, I waxed part of Lion’s back and down the back of one leg. He asked to stop because he was uncomfortable being on his tummy. His shoulder was in a weird position. I had the wax melted and the room was heating up after my meeting this afternoon, but Lion said there’s no rush. I don’t know if he’s not feeling well or if he’s reacting to my not feeling particularly well. We’ve both had stomach issues and general aches and pains. He snoozes a bit in the evening and I was exhausted but didn’t actually fall asleep until bedtime. We both woke up a few times and even the dog was having some trouble. We’re just a mess.

I hope we’ll be in better shape tonight. Even if Lion isn’t horny, we should at least snuggle a bit. I’d hate to think we’re letting life intrude too much. I did promise Lion that we’d play more. It just hasn’t worked out that way. Assuming our stomachs cooperate, I think we should be able to do something. He doesn’t have to be horny for me to play with my weenie. Tonight’s “assignment” definitely is to snuggle and go from there. While we both like staying home together full time, I think it’s throwing us off our game.

  1. Good luck back at work. I hope you are still able to practice physical distancing there.

I finally figured out how to log in remotely so I’m working from home for a few weeks at least. I can do just about anything from here that I can do in the office, although my coworkers and I are part of one brain so I miss those parts. That’s probably why it took me so long to figure out how to log in. 🙂

      1. Perhaps you could use something like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Google Hangouts to keep your channels of communication open with your coworkers. It has been working for us at my company.

Good luck and try to stay motivated!
