First of all, things are back to normal in the lions’ den. My libido is returning. Sunday’s play session and amazing oral orgasm seem to have done the trick. Mrs. Lion certainly knows how to push and pull my buttons and other parts. I was allowed to be wild for the balance of the afternoon and evening and then locked securely before bed.

One reader sent a question about chastity devices. He wants to get a steel cage, but doesn’t want the noise or bulk of a padlock. He didn’t know about security screws. My Mature Metal Jail Bird has a security screw instead of a padlock. This screw can only be (easily) removed with a special tool that came with the cage. Is it perfectly secure? Well, no. Is a padlock? Oh, no! Most small padlocks are easily picked, or can be cut off with a small pair of bolt cutters. Virtually any cage held in place by a cock and ball ring can be escaped by pulling the penis out and then taking the base ring off of the balls.

Pretty much everyone thinking of being locked up knows this. Based on my mail and reading, most all look for maximum security. They want a device that they can’t escape. As a result, many buy base rings that are too small and the poor guys spend time looking for lubes to ease the discomfort. The theory being that a smaller base ring is harder to pry their penis out. That’s probably true, But enough cold water, lube and pain tolerance will overcome the tightest base ring.  They know that too. So, some buy anti-pullout devices. These contraptions usually consist of pins, some are even sharpened into points, that are then fixed inside the base of the cage. Pulling out then becomes even more painful, maybe impossible for some. Well, there you go. Or do you? What happens if you get that midnight wood? You will wake up in pain when those little points stab your attempted hardon.

Every single method to “improve” security involves making the device harder to wear full time. The chastity forums are full of posts begging for help with chafing scrotums, etc. I think this is the product of wrong-headed thinking. Let’s take a moment to consider:

Q: Who wanted you to lock up your penis?
A: Me.

Q: Who would you hurt if you sneaked out of your cage and jerked off?
A: Me.

Q: What would your keyholder do if you escaped and played with yourself? (Be honest now)
A: Give you your key back. She expects you to play by your rules.

The point is that you wear the cage because you want to surrender control. If you wear it to see if you can escape, then you aren’t into enforced chastity, you are into being an escape artist. My cage is on me for some important (to me, and to a lesser extent, Mrs.Lion) reasons:

  1. It is a symbol, just like my wedding ring, that I am not alone and that in the case of my cage, I have surrendered control of my penis. It is on a visceral level for me and a visual one for Mrs. Lion.
  2. It is a continuing reminder of my surrender to both of us. I could be chaste and only get arousal and orgasm from Mrs. Lion without the cage. The cage reminds me of my surrender, and in a weak moment I can’t have an “accident.”
  3. It prevents me from having an “accident”. It is difficult enough to escape that it deters any passing need to disobey. More importantly, I doubt I could get back in if I did pull out. So Mrs. Lion will find out I cheated.
  4. I love wearing it knowing that it is important to both of us. It’s a symbol of a gift we are giving each other.

So, I don’t need a device that I can’t escape. I only need one that won’t fall off and that I can’t just slip on and off at will. What counts more in terms of hardware is that I can wear it continuously, with comfort for as long as Mrs. Lion wants me to have it on. It could be the rest of my life.

My advice to anyone in the market for a chastity device is to ignore all the security mania in the blogs and forums and instead go for the best, most comfortable fit. My wedding ring doesn’t hurt to wear why should my cage?

Lion’s old cage is really difficult to put on. Maybe I should let him run wild until his Jail Bird comes back. No, not a good idea.

Lion sent back his Jail Bird to be re-sized. He is wearing the Chinese cage again. No big deal, right? At least he is still caged. Well, I forgot how much I hate that Chinese cage. I pinch him every time I try to put it on. It’s difficult to get all the parts lined up. Once he’s in it I don’t want to take it off because I know what a nightmare it is to put back on.

And that was actually my first thought as we were struggling with it last night. Maybe he’ll stay in it till the Jail Bird comes back. That’s about a week and a half. No orgasm. No teasing. No hygiene time. He could do it. But do I want him to? The more I think about it, the more I think I’d rather have a wild Lion than to have to wrestle with this horrible cage. But do I want him to be wild? Not so much.

Sure I think he would be fine if he was wild for such a short time. He was wild for days when he had doctor’s appointments. It could be a mini vacation for him. Time off for good behavior. Of course, I couldn’t deny him for long without expecting him to take matters into his own hands. And it would set a dangerous precedent. Things got difficult so we gave up. He wants the cage on. I want it on too, but am I willing to fight with it? Maybe there’s a compromise somewhere in between wild and wrestling match. A few days on, a few days off?

Lion has no say in the matter. He’s caged. I hid the key. He can’t get out. He doesn’t even have an emergency key this time. (I’ll have to fix that oversight. It’s important to me that he can get out if he absolutely needs to.) If I decide to make him stay in the cage until the Jail Bird gets back, then that’s exactly what he’ll do. He won’t like it, but he has no choice.

Ironically I think he would like it less if he were wild. Oh, he’d love peeing standing up and being able to touch his toy even if he weren’t doing it to pleasure himself, but in the back of his mind he’d know I didn’t have that power over him at that moment. I think that would bother him more than anything.

So we’ll play it by ear and see how it goes. There’s no official rule book and even if there was, I’m the referee.

This training collar is a surprisingly effective, inexpensive training device. Before trying it, I was sure it would be just painful. In fact, it has subtle adjustments that make it work for signalling as well as corrections.

When I first got interested in forced male chastity, part of the appeal was the surrender of sexual control to my keyholder. My initial thought was that the only hardware required was the cage. You may be thinking that withholding orgasm and spanking, etc. provides behavior control. It does,  but these measures are generally taken well after the infraction occurs. Also, they are a fun part of many people’s chastity experience. Well, thanks to modern science there is an inexpensive way to provide “training” in real time.  This device is the Little Dog Training Collar.

After reading about this product, I knew I had to have one. I had a feeling that I would regret the decision to buy it.  The idea of electric shocks under my balls just seemed too…well, extreme. The device arrived yesterday.  It’s smaller than I imagined. However, the collar itself is way too long to go around my cock and balls.

To fit it, simply remove the male (plug) part of the strap and the adjusting buckle. Don’t mess with the female side. The antenna is attached to that side of the strap.  Now locate the device so the contacts touch under the balls. and first wrap the female strap around the cock. Now, see how much strap you need to attach the male and keep the device in place. Next, attach the male connector on the strap at the point you measured. Test it. Is the fit good? If it is, all you need to do is remove the contacts (a pliers will do it easily) and punch holes in the strap so the male side’s loose end goes under the contacts. Before securing the contacts, remove the strap and trim it so that a small amount will protrude after securing under the contacts. Fuse the end with a match, screw the contacts back with the two straps under them and you are done. The result is comfortable and works!

As you can see in the side view, the device is under the balls and will not show through most clothes. That’s important since the device should be worn at all times the caged male is with his keyholder.

Comfort is important. The device should essentially disappear from the caged male’s attention. Once it was fitted, it was time to test. This was the part I dreaded. After all it is a shock collar! I imagined that I would be holding on to the ceiling with my fingernails. The reality turned out to be a big surprise. Mrs. Lion tried it at the lowest setting. Nothing. I was sure it was broken. We used the test light that came with it to see. The light went on. It was working. We verified that the contacts were touching my skin. They were. I was puzzled. We tried the next highest power. Nothing. The device has 16 power levels, 8 in a “low” range and 8 in a “high” range. Mrs. Lion kept moving up one power level at a time. At 6 in the low range, I could feel a small, not-unpleasant tingle. At 8, the highest setting in the low range, it felt like a gentle buzzing under my balls. At 2 in the high range, it felt like a hot vibrator; not painful, but obvious and impossible to miss. By the time we got to 4 in the high range, I got the message that I was being corrected. It hurt, but not a lot. It became clear to both of us that the device was usable for multiple purposes from signalling to strong correction. It isn’t some weird and frightening machine that only a true sadist would use. It’s a practical way to enhance forced chastity.

This collar has wonderful possibilities. It will enhance my keyholder’s control and move corrections into real time no matter where we are. Tomorrow, we will discuss how we can use this device for male training and control. Stay tuned.

Lion had a frenum piercing when I met him. He reminded me several times over the years that if he was ever in an accident and needed an MRI, I had to be sure to tell the nurses and doctors about the piercing. A metal piercing in his manhood would not fair well in a giant magnet.

He has since let the piercing close, but I now wonder about his cage. First, if they don’t check he could wind up in an MRI with an even bigger metal vs. magnet problem. Second, if they need to get it off without the key how much damage will they do to him in the process? Bolt cutters are very unwieldy. Saws are dangerously fast and sharp. What’s in the cage is mine and I like it intact as I’m sure he does.

Around the house I have places I can lock the spare key so in an emergency Lion can free himself and I will know if he cheats. There’s no safety net when he is out of the house. Lion seems unconcerned, but I worry about things like this.
